	In 1990 Joe and Barb Tetz started restoring carriages. That same year they purchased their first two Friesian horses, flown in all the way from Holland. In 1995, while installing a new driveway in the nearby City of Bethlehem, construction workers unearthed the skeletal remains of 2 bodies. It was determined, by the buttons on their jackets, that they were the remains of Revolutionary War Soldiers. Joe and Barb were delighted and honored when asked to participate in the reburial of these men. It turned out to be quite an affair. Local dignitaries as well as the Pentagon Color Guard were there to take part in the ceremony. The streets were lined with hundreds of spectators. That was the beginning of Joe and Barbs Horse Drawn Funeral Service. From there Joe and Barb went on to design and build Custom Hearses. Some of the finest to be found anywhere. In 1996 Joe's sister Corinne started a carriage collection and asked Joe and Barb if they would like to house it at their farm in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania. They gladly accepted the offer and put an addition onto their workshop. They now have a Museum with many fine antique carriages and accessories on display. Such as a Concord Coach built around 1850. In addition to the antique carriages on display, there is also a hearse custom built for the Heintzelman Funeral Home in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania. These are our house pets 2 Welsh Corgie pups and a cat, of course Barb needs something today in her spare time and chasing after the pups keeps her young. My brother flew in for the day and we are going for a ride over looking Pa. and New Jersey in his helicopter. I just love to fly. Well Josie is 3 years old and it is time to see if our ground work has payed off. 1st time hitched with her mother Anna, and she made us proud. Till next year she will become part of our teams to pull the hearse At home we found time to play with our horses testing our skills and the horses puttting them together making a 4 horse hitch for the first time and they make us proud. This will become available some time next year. Great for military service.
